Crush of the Week – Church

Our real estate crush this week will have you saying church! This all brick, 1800’s Italianate RW Burke house, is a perfect mix of historic and modern. Original touches such as the ornately carved and tiled fireplace mantels and arch over the double, wood-paneled door, flanked by stained glass windows. The foyer has black and white harlequin patterned marble tile contrasted by oak-paneled doors with antique doorknobs. Personal faves in the house include the library with built-in bookcases and a gorgeous view (the windows are huge – there isn’t a bad view in the house!), the baths in the master suites – a huge jetted tub in one, and a modern clawfoot soaking tub in the other (huge fan of relaxing in the tub!) and, last but definitely not least, the private pool flanked by spitting garden god fountains and a brick patio. So many opportunities for relaxing in luxury. Amen!
