It might be a little unusual for the sellers to write a review for the buyer's realtor but Shannon (representing our buyers) was such a pleasure to work with that we wanted to give her some praise. While Shannon was clearly committed to the interests of her clients (the buyers) she did an exemplary job of listening to the terms that we laid out for the sale from the get-go and fully respected the boundaries that we set. Shannon was always friendly, frank, completely transparent, relaxed, and clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. She inspired trust in her and her buyers and that set the table for a smooth, friendly, easy sale. No stress, no ulterior motives, no monkey business. She did everything she said she would on the timeline we agreed to and is clearly on top of her commitments. Shannon's handling of our transaction should be a template for ALL real estate deals. That's how good she is!

I just made a life changing move across the U.S. The move had about twenty six moving parts, but working with Shannon Harrington was a highlight and maybe the one “stress-free” aspect of the epic move. I felt relaxed and comfortable with Shannon 10 seconds into our first phone call. It was actually a great comfort and a delight to have her looking out for me as boots on the ground while I closed out my home out West. From the get go, Shannon was reassuring and pro-active. We had met online off a referral and in a day she was bringing me (via her phone) to virtual tours while I was out west packing up my house! Shannon found me a beautiful, pristine hilltop home in Staunton overlooking the mountains. I have such gratitude for this home and how Shannon got wind of it (the home was unlisted). With such an ambitious life changing move, I needed a real partner in this endeavor and that partner was Shannon Harrington.

There surely isn’t enough space in this review to encompass my gratitude for Marc. My partner and I were first time homebuyers, myself the first in my family. Marc took us under his wing upon our first meeting and led us every step of the way. Even when questions would come to us in the wee hours of the night (sometimes early morning), all we had to to was reach out, and Marc was there. His communication, dedication, and transparency are unmatched. He kept it real with us and at no point was he ever just “trying to make a sell.” He repeatedly told us that once we found the home for us, we’d know. And boy oh boy was he right. In fact, it was the third home we looked at that captured our hearts. And we’re proud to report that a little over a month of being in the home and we’re still pinching ourselves. Not only was Marc a superb realtor, he was our advocate. We adore him and you will too!

Worked quickly in a fast market. Great communication, honest and knowledgeable. Will be our first choice when we sell the home. Patient enough to help a first time homebuyer, fast enough to see the listing the day it was posted- and subsequently write an offer.

Marc is great to work with. He's very laid back but always responsive, and is very strategic in his negotiations. He doesn't push his opinion at any. point but is direct and will tell you anything you want to know. He stayed in the loop after our offer was accepted and continued to guide us through the process. Marc helped us buy a house in our new town and helped sell the house we were living in. The new home was a new build, so it was a lengthy process. He met us at the build site each time that we visited and worked with the other realtor to ensure everything was going to plan. He is very knowledgable about the Valley. In selling our home in Northern Virginia, he held two open houses and worked with a local photographer for great photos and marketing. We sold during a traditionally slow time of year and we were still able to close quickly and get a great price. He made reasonable recommendations about how to make our home more attractive to buyers. He was always quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend!!

Shannon is a great communicator. I last moved 33 years ago, very close to the Neolithic Age in realty. A lot, an awful lot, had changed and I had a steep learning curve at my advanced age. With her help I made it. There was, in particular, a difficult schedule between close of my escrow, moving date and availability of the house I had bought. Shannon obtained an early occupancy prior to closing such that I was able to move in prior to close of escrow. Otherwise the move would have meant furniture storage until close of escrow, then a move in. She also kept me well informed of the steps along the way and I felt well prepared. I very highly recommend Shannon as a realtor and person to represent you no matter how experienced you are in moving into your next home. We first got to know Sarah via an internet walk-through while we were packing out of Florida intending to relocate to Staunton VA. We immediately liked her low key accommodating and friendly demeanor. She stuck with us through thick and thin through 4 months while we were looking for our next home.
