Photo tips for weddings and more: We always tell Dads, “love on your baby” or “look at your baby” on their wedding day. It makes them see their grown children as a little one again and it guarantees either the sweetest moment of genuine love, or if the “baby” is in their wedding dress, typically some tears.

location, location, location

Some great locations for pictures with Dad are really anywhere! The location doesn’t matter if you are documenting a real moment. Dads in particular hate posed pictures and stuffy scenery. They love getting caught in the moment with the ones that they hold dear.

shine on

If you are trying to be fancy with capturing the moment, try to get out of harsh light and into some shade so people don’t have squinty eyes and dark shadows on their faces.
